Situated in the north-east of Sardinia, halfway between San Teodoro and Posada, Budoni is to be reached through the s.s. 125, whose four lanes run along the eastern coast from Olbia to Cagliari.

A famous resort due to its 18-kilometre-long coastline washed by the Thyrrenian Sea, it boasts different landscapes and interesting points of interest: the numerous beaches of white and fine sand (the closest of which is situated only 300 metres far from the town, a rocky cove surrounded by a pinewood forest), wind-abraded rock faces, the archaeological ruins in Agliola and the domus de janas.

The town hosts 4000 inhabitants and is provided with a wide range of services.

The other beaches, such as Matta and Peru and the ones situated along Porto Ottiolu, are provided with car park and bar.
